Thanks. I read the posts for Private Client for various firms.
Is there anything I can do to position myself into ER or leverage this internship in any way. Would a financial analyst position with a manufacturing firm be better then a financial advisor postion at ML. Should I try a corporate finance internship. Finally would it make a difference if I do an internship in PCS of a reputed firm like SSB in NY corporate office vs regional office.

Corporate finance at a large company could help if you became a specialist in a particular industry. PCS will not help anyway, anywhere. The only way to leverage it is to say that you hated it and realized that you want to be on the analytical sides instead of sales. I'm serious. Start your CFA too.
