Would an MBA with 3 yrs sell side research experience come in at the "associate" level or something higher with respect to compensation.
Also, what is the deviation in pay between hedge funds and mutual funds?
Finally, have buyside salaries come in as much as sell side has (sellside research seeing yr/yr declines but I think new hires may get decent base but not necessarily guaranteed bonus.)
Would appreciate any further insight. Thanks - lots of good info on this message board.
