Message: I didn't have a lot of options (due to work constraints) as to what MBA school I applied to this year and wound up accepted at the University of Washington... now I'm wondering if I should actually go or wait to apply again next year at schools that are more popular with the IM crowd. I plan to enroll in for CFA Level I this year either way, but I'm feeling conflicted about not going to a better known school vs. just getting it over with. With an international relations degree (GMAT 650, GPA 3.32) from USC and a sketchy job history (incl. several busted startups) in market research analysis, I seem to have picked the most difficult path to switch to without a perfectly spotless record and life. Any advice? -ap
