i just moved to sd from sf and it's slim pickings here! i've talked to many of the hedgefunds in the area as well as the mutual funds and boy is it hard to find a position. i'd love to meet up and talk about where we've tried, to whom we've talked, and maybe try to help each other. you can contact me at sjlguy@yahoo.com |

each other? I am open to any suggestions, but it seems as though the timing of all of this is bad for the job seekers.
Maybe we should open a private money mgt firm and go independent. Obviously, the demand for such a career track is high, but supply is low -- there you have it, a market for not-so-far-fetched idea!
