i just moved to sd from sf and it's slim pickings here! i've talked to many of the hedgefunds in the area as well as the mutual funds and boy is it hard to find a position. i'd love to meet up and talk about where we've tried, to whom we've talked, and maybe try to help each other. you can contact me at sjlguy@yahoo.com |

Same story from people I've talked to at a recent Financial Analysts Society of San Diego (FASSD) event. Guess it's just bad timing to look for such position in small SD market.
