I'm contemplating going into Investment Advisory, ie Private Banker positions, after being in the Internet and non-investment banking Corporate Finance for a few years.
Can anyone shed some insights on life as a Private Banker? For example, are Private Bankers really differentiated from Financial Advisors? Is the Private Banker seen as a Sales person or do they add a lot of value to the firm, and the client?
Any advice is much appreciated.
