Message: of research, i have decided that IM would be the best career for me to pursue, from the description i'd love to be a portfolio manager. prior the my first visit to vault i had never heard of the CFA, i am in a London University and hope to work in IM in the states if possible. How can one obtain the CFA in london, how is this process done. I am an econ major from a well known school, how does one know if they are cut out to take the CFA exam, when would be the best time to study for it. also do you think it is a good idea to obtain a series 7 while in college. are there any other useful certificates that one could obtain while in college. also how does one go about sittin a CFA exam, are there any heavy fees. thanks for any questions that you may answer.
