I'm a graduate of an Ivy and a level 2 cfa candidate. I want to work in investment management but asset managers tend to have a small staff so they don't do a lot of hiring, so I was thinking of writing to them to see if I could volunteer.
How open do you think firms are to this idea? What do think is the best approach?
