Hi IBGUY,
thank you for answering! Actually, I am from Brazil. I have 5 years of experience in Finance at a major brazilian firm and I am looking for a MBA in the US to boost my carrer. I-management seems an intriguing option, and that is why I am pursuing the CFA - level II candidate right now- but a US MBA can leverage me in any business field down here.
I am not seeking I-banking - perhaps equity research. |

I'm an alum and former supporter of SSB.
1 year after graduation I was laid off in consulting and can't find work since June. Is it the economy, me, Simon? Not sure but I can tell you that in hindsight I would never have went to Simon. $25,000+ for tuition-are you insane. It's not even a top program. Do not go there and spend that kind of money.
Regardless of the quality of education, which is excellent, noone cares about a Simon pedigree and it doesn't matter in a status conscious world. Go to a less ranked and much less expensive school and get a much bigger bang for your buck.
My ROI = (40,000) loss-no income less than a year after graduation and still no income 2 years later. It's a worthless investment.
Simon bitterette....
