It sounds as though you have a lot of pent up anger inside, or maybe not satisfied with your current employment or lack of employment situation. Yes, I am currently looking for a job, as I have jsut graduated a month ago and I am patiently going through the job search process. I don't claim to know a lot about i-banking, quite the contrary actually.
The boiler room comment was just a metaphor for the lack of quality or reputation this firm has with real professionals. I mean its not the same as commish, but you can use that as a metaphor for management fees.
I did not attend a community college. I went to a private one in southern california. My education cost approx. 100K over 4 years.

It really is just hilarious listening to all the posts here. These two clowns you have been taking to, like most of the college students here, are probably spoon fed idiots. Anyone who refers to $10 million as a little money should be beaten. They are commenting on the integrity of an entire company as they look for their first job. You really have to come from an elitist, bull$#!@ life to condemn someone to stupidity for making a tiping eroor. I'm only here wasting time cuz I used to check these in college and the sell side is doing nothing right now so we are forced to waste time here and there. Please don't waste any more of yours. Just tell these soon-to-be trillionaires "good luck".
