OK, cut to the chase: How much do we make? I've worked at a major Asset Management firm for almost 5 years, and am now a portfolio manager in fixed income emerging markets.
What do MBA's receive (total compensation) in asset management there first 2-3 years? How much difference between equity & fixed, and different sectors?
For comparison, I think top (e.g. HBS) MBA's at prestigious (e.g. Goldman) investment bankers make about 250K, then 325K their first two *full* years. But I think that's the upper end of the range? |

you're a pm and you're asking what the salary ranges are? wouldn't asking your bosses or friends be a better idea?
