I am an engineer (3 yrs of engineering experience, but 0 skill in IM) who is graduating this June with a Master of Science Degree in Financial Engineering from a non-top tier school. Is it possible for me to get an Analyst job, if it is, what's the pay? Thanks. |

I'm assuming when you say analyst you mean Research Assistant or Research Analyst (the fancy term that JP Morgan calls their assistants). You should be able to snag a RA job BUT it also depends on your interview skills and contacts...Also remember the job market is very tight now.
