In Reply To: Hi, I have been seeing posts for sell-side equity research associates showing comp packages for the first full year out of B-school in the $190-$220K range. Are these for real? These are much higher than what I have heard. I had heard that the packages were more like $85K - $95K base + 100% bonus.. for a 2nd year research associate. Are the first group of people exaggerating? Thanks
Message: S&P just offered me to come in for a day of testing for their ER Analyst position. Their offer (non-negot) is 60K first year w/o bonus, up to around 70K the next year and to high 80s in the next two years. Again, no bonuses first several years. They said that they were intervewing recent MBAs for the position. (I have a Master's from a city school).
