In Reply To: Does anyone have feedback on these two credentials in relation to each other? Although I'm an investment consultant (not an analyst), I'm naturally drawn to the CFA as it seems to carry more weight. However, it seems way too specialized and irrelevant for what my job entails. On the other hand, CIMA seems to be geared more towards older, more experienced investment consultants, though CIMA doesn't seem as prestigious. Any thoughts?
Message: CFA does carry more weight. Once you have a CFA, you can become a Chartered Ivestment Counsellor, which is kind of a beefed-up CIMA.
