I am a Computer Science PhD student at U.C. Berkeley in my final year who has a significant background in finance: I have a minor in Finance and my thesis work involves working with business school professors to speed up computationally expensive models. Recently, I have been approached by a mutual fund and an independent research provider to apply for equity analyst positions, presumably covering the technology industry. Before I put a lot of preparation into the interviews, I would like to line up a few more interviews for similar jobs. Given that I'm not an MBA student, what are the best resources (besides Vault, of course :-) for finding other openings for analysts in different types of investment management firms (e.g. mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity, etc.)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
