I will be finishing undergrad this year. I have an offer to join Blackrock in the Portfolio Analytics Group as an analyst. I have also received two offers for analyst positions in fixed income sales and trading at bulge bracket banks, but I am leaning towards the Blackrock PAG opportunity. I feel like starting a career in investment management now rather than putting it off for a few years for slightly higher pay on the sell-side. Any ideas? |

If you want to eventually move to trading then don't take the blackstone offer. You won't really get the experience that you are thinking you will. I literally jsut look at portfolios and transactions all day. Its a big lesson in risk management and compliance.
