Hello, I've two opportunities.
1) Trading assistant at a hedge fund, mainly updating the portfolio and booking trades involved derivatives, swaps, futures etc. Goal after two yrs would be to grow into a junior trader.
2)Credit research analyst at an asset mgmt company: looking at companies, modeling etc. Which position would be better? My reaction is the credit analyst, feel I would learn more even though I do find derivatives etc interesting as well. Any comments please.
