Alliance Bernstein Investment Research and Management on Ave of Americas right? I interviewed for the Associate Porfolio Manager position. What did you hear about the pay? After my first interview I got the same feeling. If the pay is worse than what I have now there is no need to interview again. Any input on these people? Come on. Thanks! |

Yeah that's it; well the woman's business card still had Sanford C. Bernstein on it, with the small text 'a division of alliance' or something.
anyways i interviewed for an opening in their equity research division, specifically for the energy group. clearly pay will be an issue, but in terms of learning opportunities and prestige, a marginally lower pay compared to other potential offers would make up for the enhanced exit opps of putting Bernstein on your resume, right?
anyways, exactly how much worse is the compensation is my question. again the people seemed OK, but I was wondering if there were any horror stories that I have missed . .
