Hey guys, i'm a recent computer science college grad trying to get into Investment Management or Equity Research.
However, i was wondering if anyone already in the industry could give me some advice on how to answer some of the interview questions the companies normally ask for someone with my background(non-finance)
For example, why did you abandoned computer science, why do you want to get into IM?
In addition, what are some of the other questions they might ask me. And what are some ways to really impress them? Obviously, since i have no finance background, they probably wont ask me anything technical, so i'm thinking of studying a sector and find some trends so i can have something to talk about.
Let me know what you guys think. Any comments will be greatly appreciated
