analyst and associate level in an investment bank are pretty much the same.
but hedge funds are under IM and hedge funds are a totally different story. ask yourself why do so many people want to be in hedge funds? |

More and more MBA's from the top schools are herding into hedge funds rather than IB's.
I think IB's were popular in the past b/c hedge funds weren't as big 5-10 years ago.
