I'm interested in Investment Management to be exact. So do all the things you said still hold true? Especially for the book you recommended. And what are the difference of working at an Investment bank and an investment management firm?
A friend of mine actually got a job at Goldman Sachs after he got his undergrad degree in economics, although he did have a internship from goldman the summer before graduation. i'm jealous =)
Also, do you know what are some of the possible job placements at an investment management firm and what type of work do they entail?
Also, what do you think is better for someone with a cs background trying to break into IM: Hedge fund, boutique, or bulge? |
