IM is a solid choice -- I doubt there are any disadvantages to starting in IM.
Incidentally, Oberlin is a great school -- people will know it. (I went to the 'other' quality liberal arts school in Ohio) |

Are you talking about Antioch?
Right now I would like to know what the difference would be between working for a large financial services IM dept (ML, MS, UBS, etc.) as opposed to a strict mutual, (Vanguard, Fidelity).
Does anybody have any input on the difference between the two? If I don't go to NYC, am I trading off training for comfort?
