Buy the books. AIMR just warned about relying too heavily on prepared study materials. But the main reason is for future resource material. I refer to the books all of the time. |

I bought the books, am doing the assigned readings and answers each of the LOSs. It's a real grind though. I've spent about 20 hours so far just working on Study Session 2 (Tools and Quant Methods) and I haven't done the probability chapter yet nor have I worked all the end-of-chapter problems. Is this about how long it should take or would it be more effective just to buy and study some notes (Schweser, et. al.)? I'm taking the exam next June and, at this rate, it'll take 'til next spring just to cover all 18 sessions.
