Good advice, folks...interesting, the thought about working part-time as a server. I have about 5 years of part-time serving experience, so that might be a possibility for me.
My last question (or series of):
1.) Is 6 hours of classes PLUS the CFA level I in December PLUS part-time work too ambitious? I am budgeting about 12 hours per class per week, 10 hours per week for the CFA, and 20 hours per week for the P/T job. On the face of it, it doesn't seem too ambitious, but I'm curious if anyone thinks I am underbudgeting?
2.) If I don't do P/T work, could I do 9 hours PLUS the CFA level I in December and not overstretch myself?
Thanks for the help everyone!

P.S. s9decker, I might take you up on the Stalla notes.
P.P.S. Speaking of prep courses, which is better, Stalla or Schweser? |

I found the prep courses weak. They simply regurgitated what the books said. There is no detailed explanation instead there are general explanations. My advice: study hard and get the Schweser reviews books. Then make your own flash cards. Memorize the formulas. And study 90 minutes a day.
