could somebody rank the i-banks according to prestige please.i am an undergrad and i have offers from a few i-banks and i would certainly appreciate an objective ranking of i-banks on the street according to prestige and analyst acceptance rates into the top 5 mba programs. at least in consulting it's mckinsey,bcg,bain,booz-allen and then the rest.i'm especially curious about the m&a rankings.

The top m&a banks are usually ranked in order of their deal volume from year to year. Generally speaking however for prestige the top banks are goldman, lazard, morgan stanley, merrill and csfb. All of the bulge brackets are top players in m&a but these four are the most prestigious. among boutiques, wasserstein, and gleacher are excellent as well.
