Dear all,
I apologize in advance for being off-topic but this topic is the most visited (I wonder why ?!) so I figured I'd get more responses.
I am a year out of school (Ivy League) and work as an analyst in NYC (standard hours, perks, etc) for $45K salary with an unnamed bonus which is rumored to be 100% of base or more, (too bad you can't pay for rent or for booze eith rumors). In light of recent pay raises, which affected our firm only marginally for a variety of reasons, I am beginning to suspect I am underpaid.
Any thoughts?

I am also an analyst. Where are you working? I'm not at a BB either, but a boutique, and my pay is the same as yours..with same bonus potential..What did u do last year? May be just right, and BB's make more $$ in 1st year anyway..You'll always be 10-20k underpaid compared to GS, DLJ, etc..
