I'm an incoming analyst at MS, I was wondering what percentage of the analyst classes return to MS after business school, and how many in general stick with investment banking. The reason I ask is because it seems like so many people are disillusioned with it, so I was wondering how many go back. Everyone knows that you start making the big bucks when you're an associate, so why even be in investment banking as an analyst when you can do something interesting for three years, go to business school, and then get a IB associate position. What do you all think about that?
