What about living close to subway stations? Is it necessary or is the Manhattan bus system efficient enough to get you to the subway station? I will be working at Salomon so I need to get on the red line.
Brokers told me that I could get a one bedroom for under $2000, and 2 bedrooms are under $3000. Any truth to this? |

anyone have ideas on what parts of Manhattan go for 1100-1400 for a studio? any places near Manahattan that are cheaper and still nice?
