I am a first-year analyst at one of the top-tier banks on Wall Street. I have worked on primarily M&A transactions (4 to-date) in a small group which is regarded as one of the best in its field. My experience & exposure have been outstanding relative to my peers.
The drawbacks:
1. Gruesome hours
2. Mature "dying" industry - although at times exciting - does not turn me on.
Question:
I am considering going to a large telco oriented team in the same or different BB bank. Do you think that this would be wise under the circumstances?
Thanks
Appreciate what you are doing here.
