Like many of the other posters, I also am preparing to interview with the top Wall Street I-Banks this fall. All of the postings below have given some really good advice, however, what I wanted to know more about was what exactly are an analysts's responsibilites in the first one or two years at a typical I-bank? What, specifically, do they spend the bulk of their time doing, and how do you present yourself so that an interviewer will see that you are the perfect person to carry out those responsibilities?
