In Reply To: I am an evening MBA student at a top b-School expecting to graduate in summer of 2001. I am planning to get MBA within the same time frame as a day-time MBA student so I was planning to load myself with classes this summer. I really want to go to ibanking. After some serious thinking, I feel that to do an internship in ibanking is probably going to help a lot. I know many interships don't start till July. Can I still apply for one now and what's the chance for me to get a response? Will this leave people a negative impression about myself? Not that I didn't want to plan well but my plan has changed. I have been working as a project manager in one of the largest pharmaceutical companies (my other advanced degree is in biomed science). I don't have a finance background but I always get high marks on my classes at b-school. If I can't get an intership this coming July, do I still have a reasonable chance of getting an ibanking position through the on-campus interview this Fall? Any tips on increasing my chance of getting a position are greatly appreciated! Thanks ahead for advices!
Message: Usually, I just read the posts on this board and never respond. I want to get into a large pharmaceutical company in marketing or finance. Please let me know how I should go about it. dtun8@hotmail.com
