Except that KKR doesn't hire undergrads... and that I know that the top LBO firms did indeed hire many non-GS/MS/ML people... ok, if you say so. And as for not having Bear grads at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.?
Try:
Jerry Kohlberg (departed)
Henry Kravis
George Roberts
Just the three founding partners...
If you need to use a headhunter, perhaps your experience isn't as good as you had hoped. Personally, I'd prefer to get my offers directly from Ned Gilhuly or Howie Lipson after having impressed them on a deal... but that's just me.

Tech M&A Banker,
What were you doing at 5 AM on a Friday morning in the office on a Saturday? rough week, I presume. Just to help you out and deal with the idiot who says you can't get into top LBO/VC firms without the MS/GS background, think about this too.
Blackstone Group:
Steven Schwarzmann, Pete Peterson, Tom Hill - all from Lehman
Apollo:
Leon Black from Drexel (where all the guys went to DLJ, CSFB and SSB)
What I'm saying is that people who are in the most successful people had two things in common:
1) They had unique industry and financial insight over the long term
2) They weren't your typical I-bank drones who are obsessed with cachet and prestige. I guarantee you that KKR had neither cachet nor prestige when it began.
I am sure they are looking to hire the same. I'm an associate in a BB I-bank and I'll tell you on thing; if there is something that I-bank analysts flock to (this year's flavour is PE/VC firms), I tend to avoid.
