Message: Know the company, read Vaultreports finance interview report, talk to friends in the business and basically know what you are getting into. If you have a finance/economics background expect to be quizzed on valuation techniques so know your shit. If you don't then have really good reasons why you want to go into ibanking. Actually you'll need to answer that no matter what. Getting the interview at first is key. If you have above 3.5 from a great school, you're good to go. If you don't, then take the GMAT or CFA level 1 and kick ass on it. Be very proactive on getting interviews and following up. When you get dinged as you surely will, call the person and find out why (they've been through the same shit and will understand) and use the info for the next interviews. Good luck.
