Im currently working on the debt side of I-bnkg (securitizations, etc..) and am looking to switch to M&A. I have an interview lined in the FIG M&A group of a major bank. My problem is i dont know the first thing about M&A. Can anyone suggest a good place to start (i.e. books/websites) to get a decent understading of the business?

look at some m&a boutiques..
question: which is better and more technical: m&a or corp. finance (underwriting). Also, which pays more $$ in long-run...
Dude- m&a is definitely more prestigous
