let me guess...pasty white, english, bad teeth, wanted to work for Barings then it collapsed, then Schroeders, then Flemings, but the Americans bought them.

LBS sucks, no rep where I come from. there are 12 analysts in my group, 1 from LSE, the rest from the states. No-one is going to LBS this fall because it sucks!! By the way, Columbia's Masters in finance sucks too, NYU is all right, I don't really think Oxbridge has anything to offer in mathematical finance that MIT, Harvard, Chicago or Stanford, or even Carneige Mellon can't. LSE has an ace program in finance and yes its very very quant centered...just because you didn't get in doesn't mean it sucks.
