How much respect does a CFM and CMA earn?
Does it help in getting a job in IB?
Also, will it help a career in the corporate world?

NO.
maybe
Get a CFA instead, but even then I've seen people with CFA's who are no place. It's just another credential. What you do on the job is most important. And CFA is more for Equity Research and Porfolio Management then Investment Banking. Most Investment Bankers probably don't have time to study for the CFA.
