Message: How does Yahoo really know what your identity is? If I don't like someone at my company why don't I create a Yahoo account using their name and start writting vicious messages about our company in the hopes that they will be fired? How is this information discovered? I thought Yahoo had to first go to the internet service provider with the "IP address?" of the user, and that only the Internet Service Provider could reveal your identity (they definitely know who you are). You can get around this by going to a public computer like at a university, or a cyber cafe. So I don't see how those idiots sending out viruses get caught. I guess if you're stupid enough to send out a virus you're pretty stupid anyway. Also what if you are posting from your employer's computer? I think everyone goes through the same firewall, and all the websites could tell your company is what company you're from. Is this right? Also, look out, I saw an article in the Wall Street Journal, it is possible for employers to have software that captures everything you type. So then it wouldn't matter anyway. That sucks.
