I'm in operations for the investment management division of a commercial bank. To give you an example of how ridiculous it is here, this one girl here has already used the 25 vacation/sick days we get, and just took off for two weeks more. That's seven weeks vacation and it's not even June yet. I only took this job cause I needed the cash. I have been here for two months looking for an Investment Banking position and am so bored out of my mind I think I am going to keel over. 70% of my time is spent surfing the internet. Gives me plenty of time for interviews though; I've had three since I started working here and hope to be turning in my resignation letter soon. This is the most worthless job I have ever seen. The funny thing is, it pays pretty decent, 45K. People leave at 2:00 pm sometimes. It is a joke, I can hardly believe this job exists. If you just want to sit back and do nothing with your life, go nowhere and have plenty of free time, and are happy with 45K + a 5K bonus, leave your email and I'll recommend you when I quit. |
