Alright, how much do you think someone has to make to live comfortably and raise a family in Manhattan? Analyst salaries simply aren't enough to even have a nice apartment, let alone some of the other niceities that come along with city life. Growing up in Manhattan, I never realized how much it cost to live there. I think a salary of 300K to 400K is minimum for a comfortable apartment, education for the kids, etc, etc. How many few in this country make that much money? Not that many. The place makes me sick sometimes.
