How schmoozy is this job?
Do you have to like sports so that you can build a rapport with clients? Do you have to be extremely outgoing or talkative? Do you have to like strip bars and late night drinking sessions with clients?
If I don't particularly care for sports and I think that fraternities have produced nothing but date rape and stupidity, am I ill-suited for this job?
I love finance, but I can't stand immature frat-fuck personalities, nor do I like to yell at the television while chugging budweiser. Additionally, strip clubs don't really interest me.
Should I go to corp fin for sure?

I'm not in S&T, but i don't imagine knowing how the LA clippers are doing in the standings or drooling at floozies in a titty bar are prerequisites for the job. On the other hand, if you're not willing to pick up the sport page or go to a strip bar now and then to schmooze a client, maybe you should reconsider if you have the ambition to succeed in this field. It is a commission and people driven business after all.
