I have two job offers. PLEASE PLEASE advice what should i do
Background: MBA (not a top school), risk management in commerical bank backgroud
Choice 1: Investment Analyst in a insurance company based in north east. Especially work on risk management and fixed income asset allocation. Pay $60k
Choice 2: Associate, private placement in a boutique IB firm. No base. All on commision. 1/2% of deal. Small group of 5. One of the guys at the firm made in seven figures last year.
Please advice which is a better option for short term and long term. where is the money in long term. I have very strong quant skills.
