What are the chances of jumping into an equity research position (assistant or associate), or trading assistant position with one year experience analyzing companies (similar to equity research or IB analysis without modeling) and doing industry research?
Has anyone done this or somthing similar? |

I too am in commercial banking performing similar tasks to what you talked about. I am wondering the same thing though.
