Cassanova,
I too, have erred in the past with a quick temper. Perchance this maiden remains to be wooed by you. I make no guarantees, but oft times such maidens can be wooed by verse. I took the liberty of composing a quick sample to start thine gears turning:
Though my strengths may not be found in the gambit of the duel...
Your spell upon my mind made my speech that of a fool...
Transformed my heart into a flame and trouser snake into a tool...
Fairest maiden of the bank, harken hither unto thee...
For over dale and into wood I would venture just to see...
Thine physique upon a bed, when that bed belonged to me.
(tip: do not use these exact lines, as she has likely read them already)
Seriously, though, good luck. I think you and the maiden may still have a chance.

As I sit, quill in hand, exploring the emotions that have crept up inside me whilst reading this post, I ask. . . what rhymes with "boobies"?
