I think once you start reaching the top levels in banking it would get very hard to retire. Chances are you're good at what you do, and who wouldn't want to keep competing, bringing deals in. The money would obviously be there, and continue to be there, maybe getting bigger and bigger each year. I would find life boring with no employment after awhile, people need to have a sense of purpose and meaning in their lives, and work does this for many people. |
