I think the implication is that there is quite a vacuum at the Associate level for CSFB. Maybe the CSFB boys have done so many friggin deals in two years they have more experience than some of the slower banks! I've heard they get worked pretty hard. I also heard that it was choas a while back at CSFB, with some of the analysts running deals, etc... Maybe some of them shined and are now getting their due. |

There is a vacuum, no doubt about it. And CSFB people get worked hard, but it's really no different from any other BB bank. Shined? No disrespect to the fine analysts there, but this is a move of desperation by mgt in a tight labor market, no real reward.
