I have a decent studio in Notting Hill, near Ladbroke Grove, for 220 a week (moving out in July, actually). Area is served by the Hammersmith & City line, which goes directly to Liverpool street, and takes about 35ish minutes. In my experience this sort of price seems to be the minimum for a place that is actually OK (i.e. recently refurbished, with working heating and decent kitchen, etc... stuff that is not really normal in London, sadly) and in this area (Notting Hill, Kensington, Chelsea).

Is it furnished? Do these prices apply to furnished flats or unfurnished? Will the furniture be all shitty unless I pay a stackload more?
