Hello!
I was wondering if you could provide me with some feedback and info on how you secured a position in London.
Having worked with law firms previously I am now interested in joining an IBank (advisory services seems a good place to leverage my pan European legal expertise).
thanks for any info!

Having flirted with the law for a while I would definitely recommend the switch.
Firstly, your experience with law firms is an asset and you should portray it as such.
You have a few issues however,The most important one is at what level you enter at.I'm entering at analyst level directly from undergrad based on the strength(first) and content(economics) of my degree and on successful internships. This level may be unsatisfactory to you but will probably have to do.If,on the other hand, you have strong quantative degree and a wealth of experience in corporate law then it may be possible to enter as an associate. In conclusion, it depends on your stats.
Hope this helps a bit and doesn't utterly confuse you.
Good Luck.
