Message: I have just secured an analyst position at a top London bank.My real interest is in I-Banking in the US but this is not possible just yet.I want to know how easy it is going to be to make the move and at what level it would be best to do it at(preferably as soon as possible).Should I serve out my analyst days here and then do an MBA at a US institution or move at a later stage and bypass the US MBA(FYI an MBA is not as sacred this side of the Atlantic and so if I progressed to associate level here without the MBA could I then lateral as an associate to Wall Street and thus skip the MBA?) Any experiences from anyone who made the move or who knows someone who did would be greatly appreciated.Views from US bankers about the respect given to London experience would also be welcome.Thanks.
