fyi- that number 7 train bit is a gag. it's a quote from John Rocker. as far as the SF comparison is concerned, that guy is absolutely correct. everyone is healthy, the weather is great, the place is beautiful, 3 hours from the mountains, the list goes on. the problem is there are so many more opportunities in NY. i live in SF now, i'm starting at a top five b-school in the fall and i'm scared as hell that i'll end up in NY afterwards...what can you do though. just suck it up i guess... |

ahhh...so, it's not your word and you didn't mean it? or did you quote it because you mean it, thinking the colorful language was brilliant? If you're in one of "top 5 b-schools", you must be smarter(hopefully) than that ignorant baseball bat... don't make a mistake of lowering your intellect to that level.
Yes, SF has a lot nicer environment than NY, there's no doubt about it...enjoy it. but there really is nothing to be "scared" of new york i think...there are certain charms to it that you might like, as long as you can handle some of inconveniences.
