I think it is pretty clear that Morgan Stanley is the top bank in LA along with GS. DLJ, if anything, is third. Pretty much all the top bankers will readily admit that. So rather than talking up DLJ, the truth of the matter is that MS and GS still reign supreme. |

This is a joke, right? Banker's Trust (Deutsche) is better than MSDW in LA. Morgan is just like all the other LA offices (GS, Merrill, CSFB), regional sales offices. You don't hear I work for MSDW LA or GS LA. Like the previous post said, DLJ LA means something. It means that there are kick-ass full service banking offices outside of New York and Silicon Valley. They are:
1. DLJ LA.
2. ???
